Open to the Public
Join Steven and Simon on a special walk as a part of the Asia Nature Challenge (ANC), a continent-wide initiative encouraging people across Asia to observe and document nature and wildlife in their local areas using the iNaturalist platform. Participants of this walk will explore the park’s resident butterflies, learn tips on identification, and contribute to citizen science by recording your sightings on iNaturalist.
This walk will be at Woodlands Botanical Gardens – a unique botanical garden in an urban town park. It was featured in the recent copy of the Jan-March Nature Watch Volume 32 Issue 1 ‘From Barren Hill to Haven of Hope’, described there as a ‘mental well being garden’ and a biodiversity garden that can ‘make a difference’. This garden has also won many NParks Community in Bloom awards, and prestigious Garden of the Year awards.
